The number of residents of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation in the Murmansk region has reached the landmark figure of 100. Governor of the region Andrey Chibis announced this at an operational meeting on Monday.

“The hundredth resident is a project for the construction of a tourist and entertainment complex in the village of Dalnie Zelentsy. The declared investment amount is 65 million rubles,” the head of the region noted.

Andrey Chibis recalled that everyone who is ready to contribute from 1 million rubles for the implementation of their project has the opportunity to become a resident of the RF AZ. Thanks to this regime, the total investment portfolio of residents of the AZRF in the Murmansk region already amounts to more than 128 billion rubles and involves the creation of 4,100 jobs. These are the highest results in the entire Arctic zone.
