The opening of the first educational module of the School of Investment Commissioners took place in Murmansk on October 21. Investment ombudsmen from sectoral ministries, municipalities, employees of the regional Development Corporation gathered at the desks.

Svetlana Panfilova, General Director of the Murmansk Region Development Corporation, opening the event greeted the participants and wished them productive learning.

“Of course, the institute of investment commissioners, created at the beginning of 2021, is very useful, it helps to resolve the issues of investors on the ground, to which only a representative of the municipality can find answers. We are trying to popularize that there is such an institution, and in a certain territory, investors and entrepreneurs know who they can turn to for help and be heard, - said Svetlana Panfilova. “And today we gave our investment representatives the opportunity to visit the“ School ”and invited the director for regional development of the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAAIR) Alexei Bobov.

As part of the training, the training course "100 investment hacks on working with investors", developed by Alexei Bobov, took place.

The NAAIR expert praised the investment activity of our region: “The Murmansk region is one of the most active among the Arctic regions, and in Russia as a whole. From the point of view of investment commissioners, this is one of the trends in the country. The investment climate is assessed by people and businesses who live locally. And how well the municipality and the region will work in tandem, to ensure “seamless” interaction in the implementation of projects is the basic task of our training today, ”stressed Alexey Bobov.

The seminar participants were told about the key values ​​in working with a modern investor, about building "investment teams", examining investment projects and building a marketing strategy.

On the second day of the training, a strategic session will be held on the formation of a model for working with investors. Increasing the investment attractiveness of the Arctic is one of the most important strategic tasks facing regional authorities and development institutions.
