At the meeting of the commission of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the development of the Far East and the Arctic, the applications of the companies OOO Cruise and OOO SK Kristall from the Murmansk region for obtaining the status of a resident of the Arctic zone of Russia were considered and approved. 

The company "Cruise" plans to create a water sports base in Murmansk to ensure safe parking, storage and maintenance of small boats. The new base will contribute to the development of water tourism and water-motor sports. Also, the new facility will allow taking practical exams from GIMS navigators. The volume of investments for the project will be about 2 million rubles, 6 new jobs will be created.

SK Kristall will become a resident of the AZRF with a project for the production of vibro-compressed concrete products. The volume of investments is about 16 million rubles.

“The company will be engaged in the production of side stone and paving slabs. In the Murmansk region, there is an acute shortage of manufacturers of this particular type of product. The existing companies are unable to cope with the increased demand, and the nearest suppliers are located in St. Petersburg, - explained Olga Kuznetsova, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region. "The implementation of the project will not only solve this problem, but will also give the region 12 new jobs."
